Enable CZ log in Server for Configurator Developement

to enable the log of CZ log on the server you have to modify the Jserv.properties on the server as below

Oracle configurator can also be thought of as an engineering machine if there is no model bill. An engineering machine could generate a bill. Configurations created with Oracle Configurator are standard bills based on an already existing model bill. Oracle Configurator does not have to be based on bills of material, although that is currently necessary for ordering and downstream ERP. To pass orders to Order Management, Telesales and Sales for Comms use Order Capture.Order Capture, iStore, and HTML Quoting use Order Capture APIs. Sales Online uses HTML Quoting. Oracle configurator is an application or part of an application that lets a user configure products and services. The configuration model, which is typically based on a BOM model, consists of structure, rules, and UI definition. A configuration of selections can be ordered and built because it represents a BOM. Pricing in Oracle Configurator is handled by the hosting application. If list prices are imported with the BOM, Configurator can display item prices and totals.

1.first,cretae the inverntory with each items.
2.create the Bills of Material of Items.and also define the BOM type and other attributes.
3.After that Run concurrent Program to make it avaible at the Configruator developer UI for creating structure,UI and Rules.

4.Create Non BOM Items and Properties for the Items.
5. Create Struture as per your project requirment.
6.Create UI as per your project requirment.
7. Create Rules as per your business logic.

8.Publish the Configurator CZ schema to target instance.

 9.Your Changes will be available to Sales Order Configurator Screen for Configuration.
